Modular Asset Production

This was a project I worked on from the 30th of May 2021 to the 26th of August 2021. This was the first modular asset project I have worked on. I made all of the assets, textures, level design, lighting, and post-processing in six weeks. I learned how to create assets in Maya, create textures and PBR in Photoshop and implement them into Unreal Engine 4.

This was the first time I worked with lighting in Unreal Engine 4. I wanted to make the space look and feel more realistic, as the build was based on Roman and Greek architecture.

I learned how to vertex paint in Unreal Engine 4, which allowed me to make the wet look on the tiles. I am proud of how it turned out and has inspired me to get more into 3D modelling and level design. I love to add attention to detail in my work, as it helps to make the environment feel more realistic.

I am proud of this first build and I plan to improve my modelling, texturing, PBR, lighting, post-processing and level design skills in upcoming projects.
